Getting started with Generate

Generate is the quickest way to make a single image, video clip or 3D world with any model Plot Party offers. There is no story or project around it: pick a model, describe what you want, and the result appears in your feed. Use it for tests, one-off shots, reference stills, or to learn what a model is good at before you use it in a Story, a Canvas or Studio.

Open it from Generate in the header once you are signed in.

1. Pick a tab

Four tabs run along the top. Each has its own models and its own form, and switching tabs clears what you had typed.

• Image: text to image, and image editing when you add reference pictures.
• Video: text or image to video. Depending on the model you can pin a first frame, a last frame, or several reference images.
• 3D World: a prompt or picture becomes a navigable 3D scene you can orbit in the browser.
• Hybrid AI Drama Starter Pack: templates that mix your own footage and photos with AI, made for microdrama teams. Covered at the end of this guide.

2. Choose a model

The left panel starts with Model. Click Select a model and the list shows every model available on this tab, each with a one-line description of what it is for.

• A black PRO or Platinum lock means the model needs a higher plan than yours. Clicking it opens the plan dialog rather than selecting the model.
• Coming Soon models are listed so you know they are on the way, but cannot be selected yet.
• A Contact Us badge marks models we enable per account. Email us and we will set it up.

3. Fill in the form

The form belongs to the model, so fields differ, but most models share the same parts:

• Prompt. Describe the shot. On video models there is an Enhance prompt button that rewrites your text into a director-level prompt for 1 credit; Restore brings your original back.
• Reference slots. Click Add … to upload from your computer, Previous uploads to reuse something you already uploaded, or History to pick one of your own earlier generations as the reference.
• Settings. Aspect ratio, duration, resolution, audio and the model's less common switches live in the Settings bar under the main fields. Collapsed, it shows a summary of the current values.

4. Check the cost and generate

The Generate button carries the price: Generate · 120 means 120 Plot Points. The number updates as you change the model, duration, resolution or the number of outputs, so you always know before you click. When a model is on promotion, the regular price shows crossed out beside the discounted one.

Click Generate. You will see Task submitted, and a new card appears at the top of the feed with a Generating pill or a progress bar. You can keep changing the form and submit more while it runs.

If your balance is too low, the plan dialog opens and nothing is charged. If a generation fails, the card turns red with the reason and the Plot Points come back to you automatically; see refunds for failed generations.

5. Work with your results

The right side of the page is your feed: everything you have generated here, newest first. Filter it with All, Image, Video and Audio, switch between grid and list, and hide or show failed runs.

Hover a result for its actions:

• Save to library (the star) keeps it in your Favorites on the Works page, where every other tool can pick it up as a reference.
• Download saves the file. If it says the file is not ready yet, wait a moment and try again.
• Regenerate does not spend anything by itself: it reloads the same model, prompt and settings into the form so you can tweak and run again.
• Delete removes the task from your feed.

Open a result full size with the arrow in its corner. The detail view adds Copy Prompt, Share, and a Make Public / Make Private switch. Results are private unless you make them public. Use the up and down arrows to step through your feed without going back.

3D World

The 3D World tab builds a real-time 3D scene rather than a flat picture. Pricing is a flat amount per generation, shown on the button as usual. When it is ready, the detail view opens a viewer you can orbit and zoom, with Full, 500k and 100k quality pills: the lower settings load faster on slower machines, Full shows every detail. Download gives you the scene file.

Hybrid AI Drama Starter Pack

This tab is for teams shooting real microdramas who want AI for the expensive parts: backgrounds, posters, location changes and fast prototypes. Instead of a model you pick a template.

1. Click Pick a template (or Change) to open Choose template. Each tile previews on hover.
2. Fill in the template's fields. They vary by template:
   • Replace a background from photos: up to 6 images and an optional prompt describing how to combine them.
   • Replace a background in a video or move a shot to a new scene: your source video, up to 3 reference images, and a description of the new environment.
   • Drama poster: the drama's name, up to 4 character photos, and how to arrange them.
   • Backdrop image or backdrop video: a scene description.
   • Quick story prototype: a 30-second story idea, an aspect ratio, optional reference images, and a look (Realistic, Pixar, Ghibli or Cinematic).
3. Click Generate. The price is on the button, and the job appears in the same feed as your other results.

Source videos have a size limit that grows with their length; the form tells you the exact number if you go over it.
