How do I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Upgrades take effect immediately with a fresh Plot Points allowance. Downgrades are scheduled for the end of your billing period and can be undone.

You can change plans at any time from the plan dialog. Before anything is charged you see a preview with your current plan, the new plan, the amount due today, when the change takes effect and your next billing date.
Upgrading
Upgrades take effect immediately.
- You are charged the new plan's full price for a fresh billing period, and your billing date resets to today.
- On an annual plan, the unused full months of your current plan are credited against the new price. A partly used month counts as used, and if the credit is larger than the new price the difference is not refunded.
- On a monthly plan, the remaining days of your current month are not credited.
- The new plan's full Plot Points allowance is added on top of your existing balance as soon as the payment succeeds.
- Any promotion or coupon code you are eligible for is applied at checkout.
If you are on annual billing you can only upgrade to another annual plan.
Downgrading
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Nothing is charged today. You keep your current plan's features and Plot Points until the period ends.
- At your next renewal you are charged the lower plan's price and receive its allowance.
- Until then the new plan shows as Scheduled in the plan dialog, and Your billing shows the date it changes.
- Changed your mind? Click Undo scheduled change any time before the period ends to keep your current plan.
